"And life is for the alive my dear, so let's keep living it, really living it, just keep living it..." I just love this drawing! Mrs Lovett's dress is gorgeous.
Absolutely love this scene! Though if anything it makes me feel even worse for Sweeney Todd, not Mrs. Lovett, especially with how Helena Bonham Carter delivered that scene. When she was going on and on about how she would have been a better wife than Lucy, she gave it a sort of disturbed tone. Frankly scared the sh*t out of me. Either way, fantastic drawing, keep up the great work!
But, quick movie question; Sweeney Todd is rated R right? I'm not exactly at the age to be watching those rated movies *islame* so is it so gory that I should wait before I can watch it?
Definitely the type of movie to watch at your own risk... what with the murders and blood and...ick! BUT I still highly recommend it since it's still one of Tim Burton's better movies. Perhaps wait until you're old enough and watch it as a birthday gift to yourself when you turn eighteen?
I always love how in this scene, when they start the dance, all the hopefulness seeps into Mrs. Lovett's face, and then they're off in their special world, and she has such an amazing smile on- so amazingly, insanely happy- and then FIRE!!!! God you're amazing, Helena Bonham Carter!
